In a very private function, Malayalam actor Prithviraj married to childhood friend Supriya who is a BBC TV Correspondent (journalist). 30 people were there in Prithviraj and Supriya Menon, marriage ceremony.
Prithviraj`s mother who is also an actress Mallika Sukumaran told media near the bride`s home, that marriage is totally a family function and thus they wanted to keep whole function private. When asked about the pair, she denied there was nothing going on as they were quite understanding and comfortable being childhood friend so finally decided to get married. Prithviraj weds Supriya.
Prithviraj’s late father, Sukumaran was also an actor and had a special place for himself in the film industry through his dialogue delivery and subtle acting. Mallika told there would be two receptions first on Saturday for family and next day another for people from film world.
Prithviraj wife Supriya, who is from Palakkad, is a journalist and worked as a BBC TV correspondent in Mumbai. She would come here once in a while to do special stories.
Prithviraj hails from the capital city. Successful 28 year actor Prithviraj made a successful debut with "Nandanam" and has starred in more than 50 films, that includes blockbusters like "Swapnakoodu" (2003), "Classmates" (2006), "Thirakkatha" (2008) and "Urumi" (2011). His famous Tamil films are "Kana Kandaen" (2005) and "Mozhi" (2007).
