Indian cricketer opener batsman Gautam Gambhir is all set to tie nuptial knot on October 28th with his fiancee Natasha Jain, 27 years old and presently living in Gurgaon with her family and a daughter of a prominent businessman in Delhi. According to report the wedding will be restricted to only family and friends and take palce at farmhouse in Gurgaon. Gambhir who is a big fan of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He invited him to perform on his wedding day and music composers Shantanu Nikhil is also expected to perform at the event.It is also expected that the gathering will witness BCCI officials and Indian cricket players at his wedding, though the present Indian cricket team will not present in this but it is expected that Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Yuvrraj Singh and many other big names will attend his marriage ceremony. Earlier their wedding was planed to be held six months back but due to the India-England series wedding was postponed.
Gambhir was not included in the one of T20 match against England to be played on the same day. Gambhir was named the ICC Test Player of the Year for 2009 and ranked the No. 1 batsman in the ICC rankings in July. In the final of the Cricket World Cup 2011, he scored 97 from 122 balls. Coming in to bat in the first over after the dismissal of Sehwag, he anchored the Indian inning through the dismissals of Sachin Tendulkar and Kohli and put up a match winning partnership of 109 runs with Dhoni to ensure India lifted the Cup.
