Governments efforts failed to convince Baba Ramdev on Friday as Baba continues his Indefinite fast which was considered for a day or two. The talk between two senior cabinet minister and baba for more than five hours goes for nothing.
Senior Union ministers Kapil Sibal and Subodh Kant Sahay talked with Baba Ram Dev for more than five hours over the demands of baba from government.
After the talk was over with Baba Ram Dev Sibal said
“we had constructive dialogue on several issues and the government has addressed all the issues Baba has raised in writing. Most of these issues are of national concern and the government is already seized of many of them”.
Immediately after the discussion was over between the cabinet ministers and Baba at posh hotel,baba went to the Ramlila Maidan which is the venue of his fast.
Baba said that this agitation will not turn voilent at any case and will be “peaceful, legal and constitutional” through out.
The ministers talked to baba over the actions taken by Government for getting back the black money from foreign.
“The committee will examine the measures to strengthen the existing legal and administrative framework to deal with the menace of generation of black money through illegal means, including declaring wealth generated illegally as national asset and enacting/amending laws to confiscate and recover assets and providing exemplary punishment against its perpetrators,”
a committee, constituted by the government said
The delhi Government has also put in to action due to the indefinite fast of baba ramdev. The govt. has provided all the facilities at the Ramlila Maidan.
“We have made all the arrangements like supply of water and power at Ram Lila Maidan. We have told MCD to ensure proper sanitation in the area,”Dikshit said.
