Income Tax department started new Tax paying service, its Through ATM, you can pay tax through the ATMs. So there is no need of forms, no queues, you have to go on nearest ATM and pay your tax. Indian government has launched the interesting service to Indian Citizens, for their convenient. Company officials said this service will be start with the Union Bank of India, later on it will be avail in every Banks in pan India. The CMD M V Nair of Union Bank has told to media, he is trying to provide this service all over the Indian parts.

How to Pay Tax Through ATM:

Debit card holders will be registered on lenders website, this site is in turn linked to the National Securities Depositories Ltd (NSDL), NSDl validates the personal account number (PAN) of every tax payee, The TAN (Tax Deduction Account Number) will be provide to Taxpayers. 

After registration customer has to go Union Bank ATM and can surf the income tax menu which will display his PAN number and ask for the tax amount that is to be paid along with item-wise details of any other amount the assessed may want to include in the tax payment. 

The Tax amount will be debited form the account holder’s account and ATM will provide you a receipt with special number. Then customers has to login the website and submit the special number and print a challan.
